about

Black Saturday was inspired by deliberation between John F. Kennedy and Nikita Khrushchev during the Cuban Missile Crisis. The title 'Black Saturday' refers to October 27th, 1962 which is considered by many to the closest that the world has ever come to annihilating itself. Although both JFK and Khrushchev faced strong opposition within their own administrations they still managed to refrain from making the first critical strike while fully being aware that the opposing side could launch at any moment. JFK and Khrushchev's compassion towards humanity seemed to clash with the political climate, therefore the title 'something is wrong' refers to the unlikely compassion and understanding during a crisis.

lyrics

What's wrong with my mind?
I'm thinking all the time,
about the bomb that is falling
and it worries me to death.

Get along, get along,
or hold out and be strong
but there is more to life than this,
Black Saturdays exist.

Something is wrong,
with my mind,
and my heart,

Something is wrong,
with my mind,
and my heart.
